About Mac Torrent Download

I do IT for a small group of dental clinics in Columbus, Ohio. That means front-desk iMacs, a couple of MacBooks that travel between offices, and a steady stream of "can you install this for me?" requests. Mac Torrent Download is the list I built to answer those requests quickly: what to install, which build, and what it needs to run.

What every page tells you

• Current version and release notes worth knowing
• Download size
• Minimum macOS version
• Processor support: Apple silicon, Intel or both
• Install notes when the install isn't a simple drag to Applications

Older builds stay listed when they still have a use. In a clinic, the Mac that runs the X-ray viewer doesn't get upgraded on anyone's schedule but its own, and I suspect plenty of readers have a machine like that too.

Sections

The catalog covers Mac Apps, Office, PDF, Utilities, Mac Cleaners, Data Recovery, Video, Audio, VST Plugins, macOS installers and Games. It's added to regularly.

Accounts

An account is optional and free. It gives you favorites, an on-site notice when a saved program is updated, and comments. Comments are reviewed before they're published; until then the author sees them marked as awaiting moderation. Comments that list the Mac model and macOS version are the most useful kind.
