You have a mix that needs surgical EQ, transparent compression, or a limiter that doesn't pump. The FabFilter Total Bundle puts every tool you need in one installer. It covers the chain from Pro-Q's precise equalizer to Pro-L's brickwall limiting, plus creative plug-ins like Saturn for multiband distortion and Timeless for delay.
The bundle runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs under macOS 10.13 or later. The listed build is 25.06.2026 by HCiSO, and the interface is English. Plug-ins include Micro, One, Pro-C, Pro-DS, Pro-G, Pro-MB, Pro-R, Simplon, Twin, and Volcano — everything from a gate/expander to a synthesizer.
This collection is for anyone doing serious mixing, mastering, or sound design on a Mac. No separate downloads, no compatibility headaches. One installer, one set of plug-ins, all tested on the usual studio hosts.
Working with the bundle on your Mac
The installer places all plug-ins into the standard Audio Unit, VST, VST3, and AAX locations. Your DAW picks them up on next launch. The bundle covers every common format, so no wrapper or adapter is needed regardless of whether you run Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Cubase, or Studio One.
Because the build targets both architectures, you get native performance on Apple Silicon and Intel. The same installer handles both. No Rosetta translation required on M-series Macs, and no separate Intel-only build to track down. Open the disk image, run the installer, point it at your system drive — done.
Defaults to adjust for your workflow
A few defaults are worth adjusting right after install, depending on your workflow.
Oversampling in Pro-L and Pro-MB
Both limiters and multiband processors let you set oversampling. The default is often off. Turn it on for mastering work where alias-free output matters. Leave it off during tracking or mixing to keep CPU low.
Pro-Q interface mode
Pro-Q starts in full interface mode by default. If you prefer the minimalist full-screen EQ curve without the parameter list, toggle the view. On a single display that matters more. On a second screen it is less critical.
Saturn output routing
Saturn defaults to stereo. Switch it to multiband mode if you want per-band processing. The distortion engine changes character entirely when you split bands. Save that as a preset.
Pro-C style
Pro-C opens in Clean mode. For vocal work, try the Vocal Bus or Optical styles. The compressor responds differently under each. The style menu is the first thing to check before tweaking threshold and ratio.
Workflow shifts in Pro-Q, Pro-R, Pro-C
The build includes Pro-Q 4.13, Pro-R 2.06, and Pro-C 3.02. If you have used earlier versions, the workflow shifts in a few small ways.
Pro-Q 4.13
- Spectrum grab is now more responsive when you click and drag on the analyzer. It locks to individual peaks faster.
- MIDI learn behaves more predictably when mapping EQ bands to a controller. No skipped assignments.
- Instance list updates quicker when switching between multiple Pro-Q instances. Less lag on large sessions.
Pro-R 2.06
- Decay rate controls feel slightly different at extreme settings. The algorithm was re-tuned for better high-frequency roll-off consistency.
- Space control response is more linear across the range. What you dial matches the audible change more closely.
Pro-C 3.02
- Attack and release times auto-adjust more naturally when switching styles. You get usable settings faster without manual retuning.
- Sidechain EQ curve display updated for better contrast against the main signal. Easier to see what you are filtering.
None of these changes break old sessions. Projects saved with earlier versions load and sound identical. The improvements are in interface responsiveness and parameter feel, not in altered processing.
Runs inside your host application
The FabFilter Total Bundle is a plug-in collection. It does not run standalone. Every piece lives inside a host application.
Logic Pro integration
Logic users get the benefit of native Audio Unit support. Pro-Q shows up in the EQ section of Logic's channel strip as an insert option. Pro-C appears in the Dynamics subfolder. The bundle covers all categories Logic expects, so you never have to hunt through a long generic list.
Pro-L and Pro-MB work well with Logic's track stacking and summing stacks. The multiband limiter handles sub-group busses without adding latency on the parent.
Pro Tools and AAX
The installer places AAX versions correctly for Pro Tools. No manual copy to the Avid folder needed. Pro Tools 10 and later pick them up automatically. The delay compensation in Pro Tools works per plug-in as expected — no extra hand-holding.
Ableton Live and session view
In Ableton Live, Timeless and Twin respond to MIDI mapping the same way as Live's native devices. You can map filter cutoff or delay feedback to a knob on your controller. Saturn works in Live's return tracks as a send effect without stability issues.
macOS Audio Units Manager
If you run into a validation warning after install, open the macOS Audio Units Manager (auvaltool runs automatically, but you can force a rescan from the host). The bundle passes validation on both architectures. On rare occasions, macOS marks a plug-in as unvalidated if you installed under a different user. The fix is a one-time AU validation from your DAW's plug-in manager.
Using with macOS system audio
The plug-ins do not interact with macOS Core Audio directly. They process inside the host. For routing processed audio back through system sound, use a bridging tool like BlackHole or Loopback. The plug-ins themselves are format-agnostic — they work with whatever audio stream your host sends.
If you use multiple DAWs on the same Mac, the bundle's shared presets folder is worth knowing about. Pro-Q, Pro-C, and Pro-L store user presets in a common location. Any preset you save in Logic is available in Ableton later. No duplicate work.
Screen real estate
Pro-Q, Saturn, and Pro-R use large resizable windows. On an external display, go full resolution for better curve detail. The GUI adapts to Retina screens without separate settings.
The bundle also brings fabfilter total bundle free download and fabfilter total bundle torrent searches to a single installer. Whether you find it through fabfilter torrent or fab filter torrent, the same disk image delivers every plug-in. The fabfilter mac torrent label matches the same build. One installer, one set of tools, no format gaps.
