Sensei 2.1.2 keeps the same focused toolset, so the changes are under the hood rather than in the layout. The interface stays clean, which matters when you are watching multiple metrics at once.
For an experienced user, the deeper tools are what count. The Dashboard gives you a live look at CPU, GPU, and RAM usage. Fan control is manual, not just automatic, which helps when you are pushing the hardware. Uninstalling applications is straightforward, with no leftover files to chase.
Runs Alongside Logic Pro and Visual Studio Code
Sensei sits well alongside other macOS utilities. The menu bar Monitor runs independently, so you can keep an eye on temperature and memory while working in Logic Pro, Visual Studio Code, or Safari. It does not fight with Activity Monitor — in fact, it gives you the same data in a more compact format.
When you use Disk Cleanup, it targets the usual caches, logs, and temp files that apps like CleanMyMac or the built-in Storage Manager also scan. The difference is that Sensei shows you what each category contains before you delete. That alone saves time if you manage several clinic machines.
TRIM enablement for SSDs is a one-click operation. Open the hardware panel, toggle it, and the job is done. No Terminal commands needed.
Per-App Uninstaller and GPU Temperature
- Per-app uninstaller. The uninstall tool lists every application you have, not just those in the standard system panel. Leftover folders are flagged and removed with the app.
- GPU monitoring. Many free tools skip this. Sensei reads GPU temperature and usage for both integrated and discrete graphics chips.
- Language picker. If you prefer the interface in Simplified Chinese or Russian, the setting lives right in Preferences. No locale change required.
Watch Your CPU and Memory Baseline for an Hour
- Open the Dashboard and leave it running for an hour. Watch how the CPU and memory lines move during normal work. This gives you a baseline for what is “normal” on that machine.
- Run Disk Cleanup once, but do not check everything. Select only system caches and browser caches first. See how much space you recover. Run it a second time later with the deeper options if you need more room.
- Enable the menu bar Monitor. It uses minimal screen space and lets you glance at CPU load and temperature without switching windows. Right-click the icon to adjust which metrics it shows.
- Remove them in one pass.
Once those steps are done, the app mostly stays in the background. The menu bar Monitor does its job, and the cleaning tools are there when you need them. No constant attention required.
All of that runs on macOS 14, on both Intel and Apple Silicon. The app is localized in eight languages, including English and Spanish.
- macOS 14
- Intel or Apple Silicon
Questions I get about this line

Yes, Sensei includes manual fan control in addition to automatic settings.
Sensei requires macOS 14 and works on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
The install order
