The exhibit delivery checklist, the guest happiness meter, the tour guide route — Two Point Museum 11.0.234399 is the third management sim from Two Point Studios, and it treats curation like a logistics problem. The game launches from Launchpad after copying and runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.

Build and Fill the Museum

Five museum locations in Two Point County host more than 200 unique exhibits. You place displays, manage guest flow, and keep the floors clean. Gift shop, drinks, toilets — all part of the guest experience. Eighteen visitor types react differently to what you put on the floor.

Security and Tours

Thieves target valuables. Hire security, set patrol routes. Museum tours run by a charismatic guide earn extra revenue and boost guest satisfaction. Both systems run in parallel with the daily operations loop.

Localization and Setup

Voice languages include English, German, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. Interface supports eleven languages. On a Mac mini 2024 M4 under macOS Tahoe the game ran without activation headaches. Mount the disk image, drag to Applications, open from Launchpad.

Expeditions and Exhibits

Experts don't stay at the museum. Send them on expeditions to five maps with more than 100 points of interest. They return with items for six main exhibit types and over 30 subcategories. More than 200 unique exhibits fill those categories. If you prefer building, sandbox mode removes the objectives and lets you construct large custom museums with over 350 decorative items.

Temporary Exhibits

Three temporary exhibits add short-term objectives and challenges. They shake up the usual loop — different goals, different constraints. Good for a change of pace between permanent museum builds or as a way to test layouts before committing to a full sandbox file.

18 Visitor Types, Each With Its Own Quirks

Several details are easy to miss on first play. The game includes 18 visitor types, not just a single "guest" label — each type has its own behavior and preferences, so a museum built for one crowd might bore another. The tour guide system auto-generates routes, but you can adjust them. The gift shop, drinks, and toilets are separate systems; neglecting any one of them affects guest happiness. Security patrols can be set to specific routes or left to wander. All of these are visible from the management panels without pausing the simulation.

Drag-and-Drop Install on Silicon and Intel Macs

The game supports both Apple Silicon and Intel 64-bit Macs. No activation required. The tested setup was macOS Tahoe on a Mac mini 2024 M4. Installation is a drag-and-drop: mount the disk image, copy the app to Applications, launch from Launchpad. Interface languages include English, German, Spanish, Italian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish, French, and Japanese. Voice languages are English, German, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.

Common Questions

Does the game need an internet connection after install? No. The build number 11.0.234399 does not require activation. Once the app is copied to Applications, it runs offline.

Can I run Two Point Museum on an Intel Mac? Yes. The build supports both ARM (Apple Silicon) and x86 (64-bit Intel) architectures.

Is sandbox mode available from the start? Yes. Sandbox mode is part of the base game, not a post-campaign unlock. You can jump straight to custom museum building.

How many locations are there? Five museum locations in Two Point County: a prehistoric museum, an aquarium, a supernatural history museum, a science museum, and a space museum.
